Long Distance Disabled Transportation

Our staff is trained to work with many patients with disabilities, whether they have physical or mental disabilities. We also offer a family member to escort them on their trip with no additional charge. We know that our disabled patients depend on us for their safely and to make sure they are comfortable when we transport them to their scheduled destination. We keep communication with the medical staff involved with the patient and their families to make sure all arranged details are followed. At one time or another we realize that children have to face the decision of having to move one or both of their parents to another location as they become elderly. We know how difficult that can be on everyone concerned, whether it is a temporary move for medical reasons or a permanent move of residence. It is a very emotional time, especially for the elderly person who is being moved. We want to help make the transitions a little easier, we want to take the time and effort to make sure that the transport of your elderly family member goes perfectly without any problems and treats them with special care, patience, and understanding. We have years of experience with dealing with this type of circumstances.

We have special stretchers that are especially well padded and we make sure they are sterilized before we transport each patient. The stretchers we use to transport have the capability of adjusting the head area as well as the feet area. Being able to adjust the stretcher helps our staff make your family member comfortable while they are being transported. Our staff is professionally trained to transfer elderly patients from their beds onto our stretchers, then into our transport vehicles that securely lock down the stretchers to make sure they are safe into a locked position. Our staff will consistently stay bedside with the patient to monitor their health needs, attend to any other needs they may have, give them prescribed medication including oxygen if needed. They will be closely monitored until turned over to the staff at their arrived destination. They will also make frequent bathroom breaks, and will provide them with Wi-Fi and DVD use to keep them entertained. They will also stay on top of the latest weather should it affect them reaching their destination.
